Youtube for Family History
« on: Wednesday 23 October 19 11:44 BST (UK) »
Dear Friends,

Do you make videos from old family photos  to tell their stories next generations? As you know new generation doesn't like to read but watch. So videos are the best ways to keep those stories.

Here i would like to share with you my Youtube Channel. You can find videos from old photos and stories for each of family members.

I believe you could be correct with the visual concept but I for one would not be clicking on your links, sorry.

Hi,

You don't have to click. I just wanted to share my idea and examples. Actually this is the common room and as i know those kind of subjects allowed. On the other hand i don't gain any money from my Youtube channel, i didn't post this topic for ads. Anyway, Thanks a lot for comment

Do leave the thread active.

Very good videos, thankyou for posting them.

I apologise for the negative response by the posters concerned, well they should not have posted such comments.

As it is there are masses of links posted on this forum and if members do not like links they do not have to click on them.

If members do not use Youtube then it is them that are missing out on a vast amount of very useful and informative videos.

In fact we too made a video of my Wife’s family tree so that family in Australia can see it.

I absolutely agree with both youngtug and Colin Lamb

And your youtube videos are absolutely great!  Fantastic, well done, and a great idea that hadn't occurred to me.

Thanks for posting!  ;D

Do not remove your links.  I watched the Vafiadis video and I'll get to others later after I read the day's news.  It's very well done and  I learned some history.  You're lucky to have such good photographs.

Sadly, my only contact with Turkey was 50 years ago when my lab partner in high school chemistry was a Turkish exchange student [can't mention his name because he may still be alive].
