Help with Reading Address on Birth Certificate/Registration
« on: Thursday 24 October 19 10:26 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I have found my great great Uncles birth details and, although I know the city was Derry, I am struggling to decipher the actual address - I think it's number 22 but cannot fathom out what the address is?

Any help would be wonderful!

TIA

Long Tower

Yes,  I agree,  it is written on that document under three separate headings  :)

Thank you so much - I had taken a guess that the first one could be "Long" on one of the columns but on the others it didn't look like it - I read the Tower as Lower so nearly there ha ha  - THANKYOU :)

:)  I am old enough to have been taught to write my capital "T" as it is on that document.   You can compare it with the capital "T" in Twenty in the date in column  9 :) ....  (I also write my capital Q in the way I was taught, so it errrr .... can seem to be the number '2' ...  and there's many other differences too)...
