Hello, I am researching the Cabell family of Closworth, I have got to Samuel Cabell born c. 1805 Closworth and the Gannicott family of Bishops Hull. Any information would be welcome.

Is this the Samuel. 1881 Census. If it is him, he was actually born in Dorset!

Hello, Samuel appears to be a bit uncertain about his birthplace, in 1861 it is unknown, in 1871 it is given as Closworth, he gives it as Lillington Dorsetin 1881. I know in 1841 he was living in Ryme Intrinsica in Dorset and there he states that he was born in Dorset. I know he was married in Yeovil in 1829 to Louisa Bowl. I should like to find out more about the family, particularly his daughter Leah born in 1832 and the connection (if any) between the Cabell family and Henry Hansford whom Leah married in later life.
