Probate search will service

Hi. Dont know whether this is the right place to post. Has anyone any recent experience of the old will service (probate search by gov.uk). Ordered a will on 19 Sept and told ten working days for reply yet still nothing. Two emails queries also ignored. All my previous use of this service has been good.
Help/advice would be appreciated.

They had a significant backlog due to the high volume of orders when they reduced the price to £1.50, but are catching up now. There are several other threads on here about it.

Only 3 weeks? Several of us are still waiting after 3 months. I ordered 2 at the end of July, one arrived a month ago, the other hasn’t arrived yet. It seems the earlier the will, the longer the wait. As Craclyn says, there are lots of threads on here about the same subject.

I'm still waiting for some that were ordered in July; some have arrived including one that had the probate sheet and a codicil but no Will. I emailed regarding that so I guess another long wait until the Will arrives.

I received a Will due 10 August on 3 October but it was incomplete.  Used the contact us form and eventually received a reply on 23 October saying they would resolve the issue.  I received the full Will via email on Friday so they do seem to be looking into issues more quickly than just adding you to the end of the queue.
