Anyone help with a person Walter Richard Pigott

Hi there,
Looking for Walter Richard Pigott (also known as Wally Dewar, musician).
He left the port of Cape Town for Southampton in 1951.
I have no knowledge of him arriving in South Africa or what he did there.
He was in the UK in 1940 getting married, turned up in Jersey mid 1950s.
Any help will be appreciated.

If there is any chance of him still being alive it's best to remove his name as we aren't allowed to discuss living or possibly living persons here

Possibly born 1901 Holborn per freebmd.  Married Myra C McAllister 1940 who appears to have been born 1918

Walter is on the 1939 register in Sussex

A tree on Ancestry has the 1901 Walter marrying Dorothy Gertrude Penzer in Paget Bermuda in 1952 and dying either SA or Australia - date unknown.  Dorothy was b 1906 Kings Norton per freebmd and was previously married to Charles Garbett in 1926

The 1952 marriage is on freebmd and was in Solihull so I don’t know where they got Bermuda from

In brackets ( W R Piggot ) address came from 57,Lavender Road Carshalton Surrey

Thanks for all of your information. I think we would know if he were still alive aged 118, no one is that old currently.
I am aware of the Birth, marriages, Baptism. but thanks for finding out about his departure to South Africa, wondering what he did there, maybe a few gigs as he was a musician.
The Bermuda marriage is puzzling, did he marry the same lady twice?
Also Rosie, where did the Texas information come from, that is also very interesting.
