Hi
You seem to have a reasonable amount of info spread across some of the 118 years.
As you would like us to find "unknown points" in his interntional history, would you provide a potted history of his life? Please include his wives and children if they fall within the rules of Rootschat?
That should save the duplication of research effort/time/money by Rootschatters still wishing to help you.

Have found a few more records on the passenger lists
This one gives his address as c/o Tivoli Circuit Sydney
Walter Pigott ( Wally Dewar )
He is travelling with a David Rollo and Teresa Rollo ( the famous Tessie O'Shea )
Arrival New York 13/12/1948

Also another record arrival San Francisco 8/2/1949
Address given as 72, Muswell Hill London travelling with same people

If you look up trove newspapers Australia and search Tivoli Circuit Sydney Wally Dewar there is a few records you can view ...He was a pianist and song arranger for Tessie O'Shea

Well done Rosie, exactly the sort of information I am looking for and fits in well with what I know of his other musical work.
That's great.

Thanks again Rosie. Don't suppose you can find his death somewhere, possibly abroad. I cannot find it in the UK or Channel Islands. He was born 1 August 1901.

His wife (Dorothy Gertrude Garbett formerly Penzer) died in hospital in Jersey Channel Islands,
30 May 1985. I had to visit personally Jersey to find that out. No trace of Walter after 1984 in Jersey.
Did you try France, or is that not available to you?

Have you tried looking at newspapers for that area to see if there is any mention of him .If he was still alive in 1984 he would have been 83years old don't think he would have moved that far away
