Hi,

Would anyone be kind enough to help with a family member I am struggling to find more info on please.

Gerald Damer Millett
Born Ireland 3 APR 1911  Dublin, Ireland his occupation was a Tennis Coach.

I have found him living in London 1939 - not married.

He emigrated to South Africa 12 Oct 1948- not married

He returned from South Africa to England 1 Jan 1960 for a 4 month stay - not married and now a South African citizen.

Any help in any information or point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

His birth certificate can be viewed free, on line at Irish Genealogy.

Unfortunately, it's very difficult to read. The date of birth differs slightly from the one given in your opening post.
Correction - it is 3rd April on cert.

There are 2 birth registrations on Irish Genealogy -

(a) search for Millett, no given name, year range 1903 - 1903; returns an "unknown Millett", mother Pennefather
(b) search for Gerald Millet without a year range; returns a Gerald Millet, mother Pennyfather

cremation no: 17165, register page: BK12-169

I have an estate number, but it I don't belive that the estate file is online on FS yet:
The (Master of the High Court: Grahamstown) estate number is  #3937/93 (NB Surname = Millet).
