I think that’s too late for Transportation.
I think last convict ship (to Australia) was 1868.  The Australians will know.

Didnt think of transportation!!
In theory then, if i found the court case papers, that would show punishment?

Hi
Just confirming that transportation was well over by 1880's
Mid 1850's saw the end of it in most states and mid 1860's was the complete ending in Australia.

Not much help, but the 4 charges of theft came on the same day as she was freed from prison having been in for a month! Here's the full details

HEAVV SHOP LIFTING AT BANGOR.-A woman of ill fame from Penmaenmawr, named Hannah Grace Evans, was brought before the Bangor magistrates on Wednesday, charged with a series of thefts from various shops in the town It appeared the defendant took a suit of clothes, value 10s from the shop of Mr W. Thompson; three pairs of stockings  value 2s ?d the property of David Griffiths, Hirael, a pair of boots value 4s 6d the property of Thomas Davies, High-street, and a quarter pound of wool, the property of Catherine Pritchard London House, Llanfairfechan, value Is 4d. Defendant pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced to six weeks imprisonment in each case, being finally committed for six months.—P.C. Pugh (No 19) proved the offences, and at the close of the hearing the justices expressed their high satisfaction at the manner in which the police had dealt with the matter suggesting that the attention of the Chief Constable should be drawn to the case.
