Thanks tomm.
It didn’t seem right - that is why I queried it but Maggsie says it all works out and has checked it  :-\

At first I thought that the lady in the electoral registers was the wife of Thomas but realised it wasn’t.

I have looked for a death certificate to fit with Maggsie’s info but not on site yet, maybe?

Would you have a will at 16 yrs?

Just remembered that I saw an article re a death with a motor cycle.
Just found it again. She is a different lady. She is older and has family around New Ross area.

Found that death now. I had been looking in Wexford rather than New Ross.

As I said, not the right one.

Hi Heywood

I think that the last time we were all together we were 17 or so.

Regards
Tom

Did you find the possible marriage with children from that marriage?

That's a real stumbling block, Heywood, she did have a boy friend, but for the life of me I can't remember a name.
I and her brothers all worked in the newspapers in Fleet St in London.

She is with her mother in 1950s.
The only marriage I can see that fits with regard to timing is in 1966 and not in the London area.
There are children from that marriage.
You can check here

It may not be her.
There is a marriage in London area in 1948 but she would be too young.

Tomm,

I was just checking and there is a birth for the lady we are now talking about in Kensington, 1935.
You have her birth in Ireland a couple of years earlier.
I assume it is the same person?

Heywood

The Kensington birth is the most likely one, as both our family's lived in Kensington at that time.
