The Dustin family

Christopher Dustin born 1827 Devonport, married Harriet Tinney in 1848, Harriet was born in 1827, died 1871.  Christopher was a Shipwright as was his father Thomas.  Christopher also remarries in 1876 to Sophia Paterson.

Its the first marriage I am interested in.

Christopher and Harriet had 11 children according to the GRO

Emma Jane b 1853

Jessie Julia 1857-1858
Cordelia 1859-1872
Jessie Julia 1860-1931
Christopher William 1862-1862

Christopher William 1865-1866
Rose 1866-1868

Can find no information on Jane and Emma Jane apart from their birth reg, Jane Dustin stoke d 5b 323 1852.  Emma Jane stoke d 5b 304 1853.
Any help would be appreciated.

Including Emma and Jane the couple lost 7 young children and those apart from Jessie Julia died young, very sad.

A Jane DISTIN was buried at Stoke Damerel aged 5 months on 6 Nov 1852 (died 1 Nov) address given as 5 John Street.

As Jane b 1852, Emma Jane b 1853 are not on the 1861 census or elsewhere in England maybe both died?
