This will be an error in transcription on a third party site. For example, Ancestry or Find my Past. This is common. The original will state Montrose. The originals are available at Scotland's People.

It doesn't say if either parent is living or deceased.

I've found a Death record -

OSMAN ROBERT. 61. M. 01/12/1830. Bo'Ness.
'Sudden Death' is all that is said. Gives his age of death as 61, but he would have been 64.


Only birth I've found for a Margaret Liddle in Bo'Ness. But I guess she could have been from anywhere?
