My Great uncle Thomas Kilbane

Hi i searching for a marriage certificate for Thomas Kilbane 1894 born in Dooniver Achill Co Mayo Mary Cafferkey 1892/3 born in Polranny Achill the daughter there oldest child Mary was born 1917 so they would have been married before then i have seen Marys birth certificate However they had a son Patrick born 1919 but carnt find his birth certificate either Mary Kilbane nee Cafferkey died in 1935 Thomas Kilbane emergrated to Cleveland Ohio i would be very grateful for any information as ive searched for these Certificates with no luck they would have had a Catholic Marriage

Patrick's birth cert won't be online yet due to the 100 year rule, he appears to be on the index on FamilySearch.
It's possible Thomas and Mary's marriage was never registered, or is it possible they married abroad?

Hi i have found a lot of birth death and marriage certificates on the Irishgenealogy which is free and give great details some are even past 1940s was just puzzled how i can't find Thomas and Marys marriage and Patricks birth entry also Mary Cafferkey Kilbane died in Achill maybe they did get married somwhere else thankyou for your reply

Also maybe they did get married somwhere else the only place I'm thinking could be Scotland ? as i know a lot of my family went there and came back to Achill.

Mary’s surname may have been mis-transcribed.

Hi Thankyou so much for this information yes Bryan and Mary are my Great Grandparents My Grandad Edward Kilbane was Thomas brother My Grandad Edward married Bridget Kilbane from Saula My late father was also Brian i have so relatives still living in Achill i had a theory that Thomas and Mary might have went to Scotland as my father and his Siblings along with a great many people from the Island went there potato picking then came back to Achill however I know a lot of my relatives emergrated to Cleveland Ohio
