Hi thankyou for the information regarding my Grandparents Bridget and Edward i did visit them on my holidays to Achill they were lovely people My 2 brothers live in Achill ive just been doing the family tree and gathering information there are so many relatives on the island I'm so grateful

Hi Catherine, I just saw your post from 2019 and I can help a bit. I am of the Cleveland Kilbanes. I actually had dinner with Patrick's (Thomas' son) daughter this evening. I realize it has been awhile since you posted so I hope you see this.

Lovely to hear from you I've heard a lot of the Cleveland Kilbanes as I know we are connected that's amazing that you are in touch with Thomas Kilbane Granddaughter as he was my Grandads Edward brother I had been getting a lot of information from Kiltaglassan about G uncle Thomas and I've seen a photo of him it was taken in Cleveland one of the Gannon was on the photo I know His Son Patrick made a few trips back to Achill as my family met him his sister Mary I'm sure she stayed in Achill I'm sure if she married a Vasey I will have to check my tree as there's hundreds of Kilbanes on there 😊 I'm sure we can share more stories look forward to hearing from you as it would lovely to stay in touch

Thankyou for getting back to me with this information I thought Mary married a Vesey and we were related to the Vesey family there are so many relations there my 2 brothers also live there 1 lives on the Shore Road Saula and 1 lives in Bunnacurry there's so much information Im searching for as also my Grandfather Edward Thomas brother married Bridget Kilbane her father was Patrick kilbane and her Mother was Catherine Murphy her father was George Murphy from the Glen in Saula but I can't find much about him anyway any information I would be very grateful
