Malcom McConachy born 1769
Archibald born 1771
possibly also John ???

Leaving aside the question of which is Archibald's father, I wonder if there is a way of working out where they came from?

I now have Marrion McLachlan was born in Killean and Kilchenzie on 4th February 1785, parents John McLachlan and Isabella McNiell. Does anyone know if this is the Marion who married Archibald MacConachie on Gigha in 1813?
