Garret Brady and Bridget Riley

This couple were in Durham 1872 and then Morpeth, Northumberland by 1878.  I haven't found on the English 1871 census.  Ages are different in each census but he was born around 1844 and she 1848.  Their daughter married in the Catholic Church. Both Garret and Bridget said they were born in Cavan, Co Cavan.  Not finding anything on rootsireland.ie 
Any advice welcome!

First child born Durham around 1872/73 but I can't find an 1871 entry either

1881 birth year for Bridget is 1855
