You are blowing my mind as I cannot record all the information quick enough
to keep up with you.
I believe William was the gentleman that Annie had been living with.  He was
not the father of her little girl.
Now I have even more information about Annie and really very pleased that
she got married as cannot imagine the strain that she had been under to drown
her daughter.
Many, many thanks for all this lovely information you have found for me

I think her story is really sad.

If that child was hers he did not survive
Births Dec qtr 1898
Chamberlain    William John        W. Ham    4a   13
Deaths Dec qtr 1898
Chamberlain    William John    0    W. Ham    4a   7

I wonder if this is her in 1901.  Piece 1562 f79 p17 - 31 Livingstone Road, STRATFORD
The entry for the household cannot be right

John Chamberlain   24 - Head - Married - bn Bow Common
Maggie Chamberlain   23 -Wife - Married - bn Germany
William Chamberlain   33 -Son -Single - bn Broad Street, London
Annie Chamberlain   33 -Daughter - Single - bn Bromley
Mary Ann Chamberlain 59 - Mother -Widow - bn Buckinghamshire.

I think that William and Annie should show as Married.

I am sure this must be here as she was born 1868 in Bromley so that would be
correct  Just an error that they were marked down as single

My goodness poor lady to then lose her son as well.  Life was certainly hard in
that era.
I will let you have a rest now and a cup of tea
Many thanks again for everything

It just shows how little chance she would have had of help in those days, we have a lot to be grateful for.
