Where did James Evans c 1867 and family GO from Houghton Le Spring
« on: Sunday 01 December 19 11:50 GMT (UK) »
James Evans c 1867 who was born about 1867 at Kidsgrove Staffordshire, Marries Isabella Smith at Houghton in 1888. After the birth the 7th child, Olive in 1904 I can't find any reference to the family.
I've wondered about emigration but a large family of at least 6 children seems a liability for emigration. There is a 7th child Edith who I know married and stayed in the UK.
Please can anyone spot the family for me?

I see that in 1901 they were living at Brickgarth, Hetton le Hole.

Durham Records Online has the burial in 1912 of a James Evans, aged 44, residence Brickgarth.

There there is the son Jane, also.  ;D

I think their silly mistakes are designed to keep us on our toes and thinking outside the box.  ;D ;D ;D
