The Magnet Inn-Union Street, Gloucester
« on: Sunday 08 December 19 11:42 GMT (UK) »
My 2nd Gr-Grand Father, William Davis, and his wife, Ann (Spill), were the Publicans at the Magnet Inn in 1849.  After William's death, Ann continued to run the pub.  I have found a list of the Publicans which begins with Ann Spill.  I am hoping to find more details on this pub and any pictures that might be out there.
Many thanks!
KD

Many thanks to the several people who have responded with various bits and pieces.  I shall pore over your messages this week.

I should have mentioned in my query that I have a great deal of information and records for William and Ann and their children, as well as a list of landlords beginning with Ann Davis.

It is the Inn itself that I am interested in and that I am hoping to find pictures of.

Thanks again!
