George Elson

In 1919 Ellen Selina Coole married George Elson marriage quarter 2, Bristol, 6a, 419.  I think the couple moved to Shrewsbury as in 1939 Ellen died there.

I cannot find any information on George before or after his marriage.

Any help would be appreciated.

Possibility, Ellen died in 1939 but I have no date. I have just found a death for George in 1942 Shrewsbury.  According to FreeBMD Ellrn's death was registered in June 1939.

George’s 1919 m/c to Ellen Selina Coole should confirm his father’s name

Well I am getting forgetful, had the marriage certificate filed away, father's name was William Elson and he was a roadman.  Also looks like George was in the forces but the writing is difficult to read, also George was 42 when he married.
