Hello Sandra
Unfortunately William John Gurney was an only child. As you know both his parents are dead.
There are two tress for him on Ancestry so presumably he does have relatives out there.
Thomas J Gurney was one of eight and Agnes Beatrice Watts was also one of eight.

The Gurney family came from London and there are a further two trees for George Daniel Gurney and Betsy Small -WJ 's grandparents.

Thank you. Yes, I made a note no siblings in reply 1.  One of those anc trees had 82,769 people. Chances are they are not a close enough relation for CWGC. Bearing in mind also, the GDPR regulations -  CWGC are unable to instigate contact with anyone without their permission.
The other showed no details of Thomas and his family. Think it may have gone down the lines of Samuel Gurney, the brother of Thomas. Samuel had two daughters, both of whom passed away in Ontario.
