Belfast Street Name
« on: Sunday 15 December 19 15:26 GMT (UK) »
Does anyone know if there was a Spabella Street in Belfast, or something similar ?.....apparentley my wife's Grandmother was born there in 1896, of course, it may no longer exist, but we are interested to know where it was.

The area around Henry St has all been redeveloped with modern housing. Isabella St has completely gone I am pretty sure.

According to LennonWylie http://www.lennonwylie.co.uk/ijkcomplete1901.htm, Isabella Street was one of the small streets that ran between Henry Street and Little George's Street. It is not marked on the OSNI Historical Third Edition 1900-1907 https://apps.spatialni.gov.uk/PRONIApplication/.
