Dathai,
Gosh, details of the size of the house James BIRON lived in in 1847 in the Parish of St Peter in Harold's Cross.  Must have another look at that map link that Sinaan provided earlier on this thread.  Though I don't quite understand why James BIRON'S name appears 5 times in that list you yourself have provided, with only the middle one opening to reveal his name against that property.  Was he perhaps the landlord of the other ones?  Sorry to appear so dimwitted!
But thanks so much for providing the opportunity to glimpse an original document with the BIRON family name on it from 172 years ago.
Keith

Dathai,
I don't know how you managed to do that (I tried!), but many thanks.  A great help to know that...
Keith
...and now when I Google that address it comes up with the 1847 Dublin Directory and it gives another address against James's name, 7, Ellis's Quay.  Might that be some kind of business address, i.e  some kind of a warehouse?

Well,  Sinaan,
I realise that could be classed as an act of charity, but how much exactly in today's terms would an 1847 pound then  be worth?
But fascinating nonetheless as yet another unearthed footprint from the past for this particular individual.  Many thanks for that again...

Sorry no idea about the money but I think there are sites that do comparisons.

Meanwhile, number 77 and 78 James Biron to Ellen O'Brien. I don't pretend to understand these, but I think she is buying his land in Harold's Cross
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSJW-Y9VQ-H?i=224&cat=185720

Number
Biron to Longford
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSJW-538W?i=333&cat=185720

There are more to check, if you want to check them out, use the link in reply 15 to find Biron James than note the numbers on the right, first the year, than the Vol, than the memorial number
Than use this
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/185720?availability=Family%20History%20Library
takes a while to load, scroll down to Deeds etc, find the year, vol and open the images using the camera icon on the right, work through the images to find the correct vol and memorial number.
