Hi there
Whilst trying to find details on my great grand-father Thomas Corroon I came across this website and your posts and that you were looking for details of Mary Grimes nee Corroon.  My grandad Bartle Coroon was Mary's brother.  Did you know Mary and John went back to Ireland and settled in Curraghmore outside Mullingar Co Westmeath. 
Do you mind me asking where you got the information on Thomas and Mary Rourke.  I couldn't find them on the Irish 1901 census.  By 1911 Thomas was a widower.

The New York City death index has a Mary Grimes, age 6, who died 12 Nov. 1927 in Bronx, New York.  Since she wasn't mentioned on the Oct. 1928 petition for naturalization, it seems likely to be her.

In case it helps, since this previous post, this death certificate is now online - https://a860-historicalvitalrecords.nyc.gov/view/5809676  Looks like she was the child of the couple in question.

Sorry I thought we were writing about Mary Grimes (nee Corroon, the mother) born around 1897.
Hopefully Lisa will be able to tell me what she knows about Thomas and Mary Corroon.
