PULLIN in Lyncombe and Widcombe circa 1811
« on: Monday 23 December 19 18:46 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for an Elizabeth PULLIN who may have been baptised circa 1811 in or near Lyncombe and  Widcombe.
The person I am looking for died and was buried there 7 Jan 1846, abode Claverton St, aged 36.
I am waiting for the certificate.
She is one of many Elizsbeth Pullins I am researching.
Are these records available on any resource on line? I know later records are, but not for the period I am interested in. I know there are several Pullin families there.
I thought it could be her in 1841 in the same parish aged 20 on ancestry, but it looks like 30..
But her place of birth is detailed as not in Somerset.

Think you will find she was the wife of Henry Pullin.  The 1841 has her aged 25 but she could have been up to 29 as ages were rounded down on that census.  She is shown as not born in county.

1841 address was Claverton St

If you are researching Pullin as her birth surname - she cannot be yours

Thank you CaroleW
It does look as if the Elizabeth who died in 1846 is indeed the wife of Henry. I have identified her in 1841 with Henry and several of their children. This revealed her nee name as LARGE, and suggests a marriage in Gloucstershire in 1833. Their first childrens births were registered in Cheltenham.
