Think the first witness is James RICHINGS.

The Second witness surname appear to be : Westmancoat, as I have WESTMACOT/WESTMACOTT/WESTMOCUT/WESTMOCUTT/WESTUCKETT in my Gloucestershire Tree.

There is a Martha WESTMACOAT married 23 December 1835 at Charlton Kings to John PLACY and the Banns say, she was from the Parish of Leckhampton.  Witnesses at that wedding were: John COOMB, Rachel WESTMACOAT, Mary PLACY, Robert ARNETT.

There are ther HOLDER marriages in Leckhampton, including 8 December 1839, when William elder - married Hannah COLE.  William gives his farther's name as William holder a labourer.

----

Assume it's the John HOLDER on the 1881 census, birth c1840 Ashleworth, Gloucestershire

over the next page

On Page 4

WESTMACOAT
