On the 1871 census there is the Samuel Share born in 1855 and he is stated as being 16 but I'm wondering if this was a mistake. I can't find his brother John Thomas Share on the 1871 who WAS born in 1855.

Samuel Share born 1843- died?

There are two Samuel Share born in area and marrying. One to Louisa Dukes in 1865 and the other in 1880 to Ann Maria Bunce

I found the marriage of Samuel Share and Ann Maria Bunce.

Samuel's birth year is listed as 1842 which is slightly out but his father's name is Thomas, which would be correct, so I'll have to look into this as this is a possibility.
The marriage to Louisa Dukes has the father's name as John Share.

I found them on the 1891 with son Samuel and daughter Elizabeth, and also a Sarah Share born 1881. (another Sarah!!)

That's a great find! I'm trying to find a marriage between a Hammonds and Share at the moment or to try and locate this Mary Ann on a census to rule her out.

Hi, I finally got the birth certificate come through today!
Thank you ever so much for your finding of Mary Ann Hammonds, it's looking very likely that this could be her!
The mother's name is Sarah Hammonds formerly Share, and the father's name is Benjamin Hammonds.
On her marriage certificate she claimed her father was 'Benjamin Share', which I had previously thought was coincidental seeing as her husband was named Benjamin also.

However her birthday on this is the 27th September, not the 20th like from the logbook, which is slightly out.
