I realise your post is a couple of years old but I found it interesting because my great grandfather was Richard Cambridge and my grand mother was Monica. Strange what you find as I wasn't aware of a lot of the details specified.

Hi there,
My great grandfather was Thomas Cambridge, sim of John Jonas & Ellen (Hadnett). We recently lost my grandmother daughter of Thomas Cambridge and have been looking into our family history.
Has anyone been able to go back further?

Youghal Brawler - you must be a cousin of mine?  Thomas Cambridge was my grandfather, so Richard would have been my mother's uncle I think.
