So now the next part of the puzzle is that Jane now White died by 1858 October. But where and when ??

If Jane was born c1822/1826  - and died between 1856 and 1858 - this gives her age at death approx 32/36 give or take a couple of years.

Checking with GRO Index (and filling in approx age - there is for example)

Jane WHITE in 1857 - STOCKTON age 33
Jane WHITE in 1857 - HALTWHISTLE UNION age 34
Jane WHITE in 1857 - ALTRINCHAM UNION age 32
Jane WHITE in 1857 - J Qtr - SALFORD age 32
