John reed

Hi everyone, I'm looking for info on John Reed believed to be born around 1888 - as per 1939 census which has his birthdate 25/12/88 of 131 West St, deal, kent. However I can't find a birth record for John of 1888, Eastry Kent.
John was born in Kent.   The only other possible John reed could be one born 1892, Eastry Kent but that's a 4 Yr difference, although this John has a sister phoebe as does the next generation contain a phoebe reed.  It's been mentioned his mother's maiden name could be Marsh.  Any info on this John reed anyone can help with would be really appreciated, including parentage and siblings.

John married Beatrice Hiron and they had a son John Alexander Reed born 7th April 1922, died 2012.  John Alexander Reed married Hannah Clare Middlebrook.  I'm unsure if John Alexander Reed had any siblings other than phebe/phoebe reed born 1926.

When John Reed married Beatrice Hiron 2 May 1919 he gave his age as 29 and his father was John Reed occ Dealer

With all due respect, how can you know exactly where he was born?

He married Beatrice 2/5/1919 Monks Horton, Kent aged 29 - a Labourer, son of John Reed.  It was the end of the war, people moved around, and he could have come from anywhere?  (Indeed, Beatrice herself was from Battersea).

The family you are looking at in 1911 with sister Phoebe are in Deal in 1939 - father Johns occ ties in with your Johns fathers occ when he married

[hi Annette, according to the son of John Alexander Reed, John Reed came from deal, Kent, and this seems to be common knowledge within the family.

[thanks Rosie, this is the family that does tie in that I was looking at, and I believe this Sarah's maiden name is Marsh.

Her birthdate was on the baptism image.  There is no birthdate on the one for John
