Can anyone find a birth for a william parker who says he was born in Wandsworth in 1790 according to his army paper that is. I read an article today which says Wandsworth parliamentary borough wasn't formed until 1885

Wandsworth existed as a parish long before it became a parliamentary borough.

Hi bev j not really he is in the 1841 census living in lime street Newcastle-upon-Tyne  he has 3 daughters living with them but I can only find one birth and that's isabella the other 2 there is no record of William joined the yorks and lancs in 1811 other than that I've got nothing a quandary to say the least

Doesn't answer your question but I think this is the daughter Sarah, a non-conformist birth, and it gives the mother's name too:
