« on: Wednesday 08 January 20 15:29 GMT (UK) »
Hey,
I'm hoping someone can help track the parents of Mary Ann Cain.

She Married a Joseph Thompson in 1908 in Newcastle.

I know she had a son Joseph Thompson March 1905 Registered in Tynemouth. Address on his birth cert 37 Church Way, Tynemouth

I'm uncertain of other children she may of had.

Any help appreciate x

Is this father and son in 1911? No sign of Mary Ann.

Thanks Heywood, I saw this one! I wonder where Mary Ann is.

It's has Joseph snr as married and not widowed, so I'm presuming she is still alive.

The only error this one may have is I have a marriage in 1908 and it states he's been married 6 years.

I thought that would be to cover the age of the child  :-\

I had a look for her but can’t see a candidate by name or initials as yet.

They started their family 6 years previously.

I have an instance where a couple declared they had been married for 18 years in 1911 but actually married in 1912. They had been living together from circa 1893 when the man deserted his wife and family. They had to wait until his wife died before they could marry.

(I see heywood has beaten me to it)

I thought she could have been visiting elsewhere at the time census was taken, but why would Joseph snr and Jnr be boarding elsewhere...

Just thinking of possibilities!

On Joseph jnrs marriage cert it doesn't state father as deceased and that was 1930 so I will see if I can find an electoral register hopefully with Mary Ann too..

Do you have Mary Ann’s marriage details - father, witnesses, age?
