It might be worth checking to see if estate records still exist for the Royal Pavilion and the other associated buildings, if they do then there may be a record of employees and their wages , duties etc.

It used to be looked after by the Brighton and Hove council but on the 1st April this year was transferred into the care of the Royal Pavilion and Museums Trust together with all of the associated buildings such as the Corn Exchange.  With the current pandemic situation that may not have taken place of course.

I'd suggest initially contacting the Brighton and Hove museum as they may have a record of what remains of the original estates records for the pavilion and its associated buildings or be able to point you in the direction of who may have that information.
