Exciting find
« on: Saturday 11 January 20 11:47 GMT (UK) »
I'm really excited today, and I had to share with people who'd understand.  My daughter's 3x grt gran and the siblings I've found so far were all baptised about 11miles away from where they were born, everything fitted with the info the minister had written but the location seemed strange.  I have just found the profile of one of her siblings and it explains about their dad walking 11miles to go to a non conformist church and also lists their moves between the different farms they lived at.  All fell into place :).

It is wonderful when this type of thing happens. I am sure many of us on here will identify with the sense of elation that comes when things like this fall into place.  :D  Better than a birthday! ;).

I am really happy for you pharmaT!  Thanks for sharing your good news.   :)

Wonderful pharmaT. It is exciting when you find elusive records and then bingo everything falls into place. :)

What's even better now I've read it all is that it states where the father is from (based on the son's own writing) meaning the probable birth I have for him is even more likely to be correct. Yeah!

On the down side it says that subject of the article (the son) had 13 siblings which means I'm missing 7 children but hey another hunt eh?

Keep you busy then hunting down the missing siblings  :)

Great that the birth you found for the father could be correct.

It is great that so much has fallen into place ..

.. however, in my book the prospect of 'another hunt' is also cause for celebration. :D ;)

Please let us know when you manage to round them all up.    :)

That is wonderful ParmaT, it is funny how we 'need' a logical explaination and many times there isn't one or we don't find it........ so well done ;D
