I know of it from living in the village for many years. It's  on Trevor Row/Road. opposite the Church.  The last I knew of it, there was an upholstery 'shop; in one of the out buildings. I'm not sure what it is now.
I have a book on Chirk buildings. I'll look it up and get back to you later.

There is a Chirk History FB page where members might know more about it.

PS - I think it would be Isa not Iva.  No definitely Iva!

I've just looked at the map on this link

https://www.coflein.gov.uk/en/site/27963/details/trevor-houseplas-iva-chirk

I think it might have been what we called the 'Old Vicarage'

You might have seen this:

Quote
Site Description Trevor House was probably the substantial house known as Plas Iva, first mentioned in 1660 when an assessment was raised on it to fund a new militia. The present building may incorporate an earlier building, as the ground floor front wall stands proud of the upper floor. The rear of the house appears to date from the seventeenth century, built of timber framing, probably by the Myddleton family although in the township of Brynkinallt. The present front block (to the south) was altered and enlarged in 1840 probably by Richard Jebb, the agent to the Myddleton estate.
Source, Cadw Listed Building Database, record number 617.

My book has 2-3 pages on Trevor House. I'll try and precis it for you after I've finished cooking/eating.

Alternatively, I could scan the pages and send it to you if you PM me an e-mail.

Ah - my book says who it was owned by when I lived in Chirk. If so, it's not where the map says it is.

It's definitely Plas Iva in all my books on Chirk.  We only knew it as Trevor House when I lived there. I'm what they call a 'Chirker'  We played around it   ;D

I have the history in the book I referred to.
