Marriage of Samuel Whiting -Elizabeth Blazey.

I am looking for details of a marriage or Banns for Samuel Whiting and Elizabeth Blazey. Their first child was baptised at St.Augustines, Norwich in August,1807. Further children at St. Martin at Oak and St.Paul's, Norwich, the last being in 1827.
    Any clues would be very much appreciated.

Hello rosie, Thank you for the reply. Yes I am sure as she is listed as ,late Blazey - Blazy, in the baptism records. I have checked the marriage you mentioned in case the wrong name was written down but looking at a copy of the original Samuel has left his mark and Elizabeth Gooch has signed so I think they are 2 separate marriages, although they don't seem to appear again. The marriage date would be around the correct date though.
                Just to add I had checked the banns for Elizabeth Gooch yesterday and she is shown in the banns as Gooch.

                    In the 1851 census she is shown with Samuel and aged 66. She died in Sep 1860. GRO show her age as 74. In the census her birth place is Norwich

Well at least her age is a goodish match for the Elizabeth Gooch baptized in Wymondham.

There are acouple of burials in Norwich, at St Martin at Oak
Paul Blazey, 20 June 1828, age 74
Sarah Blazey, 23 Oct 1828, age 67 (abode St. Andrews according to FreeReg)

So it is possible that the Wymondham couple went to Norwich.

Hello again Jon, I was just looking at your Wymondham links and I think it is a very good possibility that she is the same person and well worth considering because, as I mentioned earlier, the Samuel and Elizabeth Gooch do not appear again when we have been searching for them.
