« on: Wednesday 15 January 20 23:28 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I have just found that my great uncle was a postman in london in 1926 the recruitment register says that he was based in LPS (SE) I presume that the LPS stands for London Postal Service but has anyone any idea where the SE relates to. Is it roughly the present SE post code
Killick - London and jersey and kent
Lake - Norfolk (kings lynn and district)
Burton - Northants
Asher - Northants and bedford shire
Davis - Dorset and London
