« on: Thursday 16 January 20 11:45 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Looking for any info on the death/burial place etc of the above, believed to have died on 22.02.22 probably as a result of wounds received in WW1.

Regards

I did this Search on https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp  which is the Irish Govt BDM Westsite, Certs are Free. Safe website.

One just needs to solve Captcha security and one can use initials to sign in.  No Reg or Sub needed!

This LINK  http://www.rootschat.com/links/01ove/    will get you all Civil Reg BDM's for Henry  surname in Westport Reg District.  One can narrow them down by Decade or Births etc as needed.

Some with Returns Page No do not have Images at moment but one can use Link above every few months to look for updated ones.

I clicked on 1920's .... no sign of him!

I also did this Search which doesn't show C Reg for him anywhere in these years!

You could try just entering his name, nothing else and see what turns up for any Anthony Henry. I have to go otherwise I'd check!

Nothing in Ireland but there is a death in the first quarter of 1922 in England.

HENRY, ANTHONY
Aged 27
GRO Reference: 1922  M Quarter in SOUTH STONEHAM  Volume 02C  Page 128

Could he have been at Netley Hospital?

Thanks Hallmark, and yes Dundee I saw that, the age fits and according to pension records on Ancestry he could have been completely paralysed, so Netley is a possibility.

Sorry...had to go.

Earlier Civil Reg for them would have come under NEWPORT District, with cut-backs it was amalgamated with Westport in 1886.

So just use Surname and change Westport to Newport if you want to look for pre 1886 ones.
