TheGenealogist has a very good address search.  Which site(s) do you have access to?

Go to the census record that you wish to look at on Find My Past.

You will then see the boxes to fill in with names etc.  At the top on the left are the words Search For. You then have the choice of Person or Address.  Click on the word Address.  The page then asks you for Street, Parish or Town, and County.  Fill those in and click blue search bar underneath.

It will then take you to a list of the streets/roads.  You may have to make a choice from the list depending on how many appear.

Isn't FindMyPast address search only available for the 1939 register? Not the other census years?

It is available for all census years from 1841 to 1911 and has been for some considerable time.

That's interesting. I have the person/address button for 1939, but not on the census search page. I thought that they'd removed the feature.

EDIT ok, i've found it now - i have to select a record set first. Thanks

How do I learn how to find all these features?
