Trying to find the marriage details of Suzannah Elizabeth Clarke born 12 Jan 1845 Northamptonshire, married to James Pink born 11 May 1845 Wickham Hampshire. their first child Ernest Wesley Pink was born in the Netherlands 1867. James was there to build flood defences. I have most of his details except where he was married. Can anbody help me? Many thanks

Maybe they married abroad then.  Did they return to England?

Back in England by at least 1870 as they have a 6mth old dtr b Hampshire on the 1871 entry

Ernest was b Velsen

Who were Suzannah's parents?

Was her birth registration in her full names?

Father: William Clarke  Mother: Ann Clarke

Father an ag lab in 1851.
Susannah not with parents etc in 1861.

Added:
Recorded as Susan Clark in 1861, servant in Northampton.


ADDED:  Wrong family as on 1891 census parents are recorded as Hayward and Elizabeth Clark??
ADDED: In 1881 she is Elizabeth Pink and her parents are Abraham and Eliza Clarke??

Some trees have her Mother as Allard, so this birth

Susannah Elizabeth Clark  mmn Allard  1845  in Thrapston  March quarter  15    393

(Thrapston district also covers parts of Huntingdonshire.)

FindMyPast shows marriage as GRO Consular Marriage which took place in Amsterdam - no specific year given, entries listed just show as 1866-1870.
