CWGC are looking for relatives of Pvt Charles Caplen - 4021458 - 145 Bn Canadian Infantry. Died 8/7/1917 - burial Scoudouc (St Jacques Le Majeur) Roman Catholic Cemetery.
Recent research has shown Pvt Caplen is buried at the above cemetery = the commission is in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

Spelt - Caplin on the Canada, War Graves Registers (Circumstances of Casualty), 1914-1948 for Charles Caplin 832713 -   He was admitted to hospital on the 18 June 1917 suffering from pulm. tuber.  His condition gradually became worse and he died at 4-30 on the 8/7/1917 - father John Caplin Moneton NB

New Brunswick Deaths - Charles Caplin - 1893 - 8 July 1917 - age 24 years.

This could be the father John Caplin - 1872 - 29 Jul 1925 Moncton New Brunswick - aged 53 years.
