Hi there from "Down Under"
A recent family funeral unearthed some old studio photos that no-one seems to know anything about    ???
The 2 scans attached are of a very nice wedding.
Photo of the couple has the details on the mat surround - "Stump & Co Adelaide"
Bride by herself (and isn't she lovely?) has the words - Stump & Co - 65 Rundle St Adelaide.
With Paris Panel above a crest in the centre of the mat surround.

Wikipedia states that "By the time of the 1887 Jubilee Exhibition, he (Stump) had left Hammer, and established Stump & Co. in the Gresham Arcade, at what was known as "Platts's Corner" then "Howell's Corner", north of Hindley and King William Streets, opposite what was later known as the Beehive Corner.

A second studio, at 65 Rundle Street, was opened by Stump in June 1889.

Around 1911 Stump & Co. had joined with Hammer & Co. as Studios Limited at 37a Rundle Street, but the names of both studios continued separately.

After the Rundle Street property changed owners, Stump & Co. relocated in September 1929 to Birks Pharmacy Building, Gawler Place, on the Rundle Street corner".

Hopefully the above details might help with dating....

Of course it would be wonderful if someone recognised the people

I think its 1897.
I can't believe it but I was trying to ID a picture of a bride in a white dress from Stump and Co also. I googled up this post. Today I stumbled on a picture of the same bride I was trying to ID with her husband, in the same chair your groom is sitting in, and they were married 1897.
I found another picture dated 1897 the same chair, with groom sitting on the chair and wife in bridal dress next to him.
It's not your bride, but it's a date.

The chair...

on second thoughts.. this chair is still in circulation in 1913
