« on: Wednesday 29 January 20 19:15 GMT (UK) »
Hi
I'm looking to find some history about my family, my nanna was Mary Ellen Shipton and she married Christopher Smith in 1921. They had siblings 1 which is Arthur who is my dad, and sadly died in 2019, they had other siblings called, Douglas, Elizabeth, Joyce, Alan, Eva, Thomas, Margaret.
Any information about Christopher Smith and his life and what year he died and also any information about Mary Ellen Smith would be appreciated, especially year she died
Thankyou in advance
Barbie Crowe

Mary Ellen’s death is less obvious. (Born 1899)

Did she move to live with with or near a child after Christopher died?

Hi
Thankyou for some information. I have their marriage certificate from ancestry.
My sister thinks Christopher died before she was born in 1961,
Finding information is really hard. I have been looking for them to pay my respects, even tho I don't remember them as I was so little

I have tried darlington cremation services, they were really helpful,
They had a daughter called (betty), I remember going to Stockton on tees to see her, they had a horse in the garden called chestnut which belonged to me,
