What is his first name
« on: Saturday 01 February 20 14:37 GMT (UK) »
I was rather hoping that Mr. Coomber's first name would be Jethro but I can't get any sensible name from this. Any help would be appreciated

The first letter looks very like the J in John above it. The bride had the same name as my maternal grandmother and I really can't imagine two people with the same name in Devonport, especially with the fairly uncommon surname.

It's still Frank. If the first letter isn't an 'F' its an odd name, as the other letters are '.rank'.

Look at the letter 'F' of Fourth in Column 1. It's exactly the same.

If you look at the date they are married it states Fourth & that is very similar to the F in Frank
