Marriage at Llanfor parish 1785-1790?
« on: Wednesday 05 February 20 19:39 GMT (UK) »
I wonder whether anyone can help?

I'm looking for the marriage of Jenkin Edwards and Catherine Thomas in about 1785-1790, which may have taken place in Llanfor parish.
Their first-born was baptised in Llangwm parish in 1790, their last child had a non-conformist baptism in Cerrigydrudion in 1815. Catherine Thomas's parish before marriage was said to be Llanfor in the latter.
Their marriage is not recorded in either Llangwm or Cerrigydrudion parish records.

Any help appreciated.

Correction - I think Jenkin might have signed as only Catherine has an X against her entry.

Yes correct surnames - I was half expecting some patronymics as the records were inconsistent about the use of surnames/patronymics around then!
