How do I find the church my relation was married in ?
« on: Saturday 08 February 20 22:00 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
Is there any way of finding what church my past relation was married in ? Do you have to order the wedding certificate for this? Will this tell me or is there a site which will give these details maybe ?
Any help appreciated
Thank you

Try https://www.marriage-locator.co.uk/.

If that fails, youwill need the certificate.

What area were they married in and when.  Many areas have sites showing the location from 1837  (eg)

www.lancashirebmd.org.uk
www.cheshirebmd.org.uk

Or go to www.ukbmd.org.uk
