As he was still serving in 1920, his service records will still be with the MOD.
To apply for them, see: https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-service-records

Cost is £30, and you will need a copy of his death certificate.

Can't see his parents marriage on FreeBMD (which covers England & Wales), so I guess they married in Scotland?

You need to do a search on ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk.

I believe that only applies to soldiers who continued to serve after 1920.

There's a WW1 MIC and medal roll entry for RFA Driver Thomas James Cooke 276404, previously 81847 in the MGC. FindMyPast has a file for Thomas James Cook under the MGC number:

Adding to ShaunJ's info, the RA Attestations register on Findmypast:
https://search.findmypast.co.uk/record?id=GBM%2FROYALART%2F1020001-1021000%2F00004&parentid=GBM%2FROYALART%2F41811
shows he was a re-enlistment in December 1919 with number 1020008, discharged in 1922, re-enlisted again in 1923 in the Territorial Force and was discharged in 1927.

His records will indeed be at Glasgow as he went on after 1920.

Thomas James Cooke birth was registered in 1893 in Kidderminster (as per the Royal Artillery attestation record). Mother's maiden name was Penny. It appears that his father Thomas married again in 1899 - to Emily Morris.
