I had this family on my list to look at anyway as several of my DNA matches lead back to this particular family group. We may actually turn out to be related 

Let me know if your research ever leads you to a Susannah/Susan Chator who married Caleb Nesbitt in Newcastle in 1742. She died in Longbenton in 1781. Children (Nasbit, Nisbit, Nesbitt): Robert 1743, John 1745, Jane 1746, Jacob 1749, John 1753, Caleb 1755, William 1757. She is my 5th great granny and is my frustrating Chater/Chator brick wall.
