My elusive Maggie DAY....!
This might, a big might, be my Grandmother Maggie Day who abandoned my Father and his two elder sisters in Bedford, Bedfordshire in1918 and was never heard of again.
I have proven DNA ancestors from Baulking, Berkshire and have found this Maggie there in 1891 and 1901 censuses, but I am having great difficulty tracking her down in the 1911 UK Census.
Her birth was registered as Maggie and she is named Maggie in both censuses, but on my Father's birth certificate she is Margaret.
She may have married although she states maiden name DAY on birth certificate. She called herself Maggie BRADFORD on poor law records in Bedford although no marriage has been found. Any help greatly appreciated....
I'm having difficulties locating her in 1911 too
Same as everyone else not seeing any marriage.

Do you know Maggie’s date of birth?
If so, have you checked the 1939 register with just her first name and dob to see if you can find her there?
Have you checked all her siblings to see if she’s with them?
