When Lewis Buckstein died in 1947, administration was granted to Henry Buxton, cinema proprietor.

The son of Lewis and Anna was actually born as Henry Buckstein in Dec.1906 Leeds - mmn Hyde (?), and brother Israel birth regn. is Sept.1903 Leeds - mmn Hyatt.

Would appear that Lewis didn't marry his wife until after their children's births - Lewis Buckstein married Annie Hite Jun.1910 Leeds.

Aha - following ShaunJ's post then Lewis' son Henry Buckstein/Buxton did indeed become a cinema proprietor - however, he was actually born in 1906, not 1908, in case this helps to find his death.

Then there was Joseph Buxton who was in business with Harry in the 1930's - lived at 4 Grange View in Leeds which was Lewis Buckstein's address. Joseph appears to have been born in 1896. A brother?

It appears that Henry was not Harry.

This is an extract from The Bioscope of 14 January 1931 about the formation of Regal Cinema (Lincoln) Ltd:

"The directors are : Harry Buxton, 73, Anfield Road, Liverpool ; Henry Buxton, 4, Grange View, Leeds ; Joseph Buxton, Strand Palace Hotel, W.C. Secretary : Harry Buxton"

Finally worked it out - Henry Buxton was born as Henry Buckstein on 5/10/1906 Leeds, and married as Henry Buckstein to Rosa Katz Dec.1934 Leeds North.   (Appears at least 2 children born to them, a daughter in 1936 and a son in 1942, both as Buxton).

They lived in Lytham St Anne's in 1939 which should enable you to find them in the 1939 register.

Henry Buxton of Eastholme, St. Ann's Road, Prestwich, Manchester died 18/4/1956 at the garage of this address - probate to widow Rosa - effects £3032 16s.

Henry's daughter (born 1936) married in 1956 - her husband died in Cheshire in 1984.   As of 2019 (electoral roll) she was still alive and living in Altrincham, Cheshire.

Many thanks for the contributions: The 1911 census has Lewis and Anna Buxton with five children. Four of them male, they are: Joe b 1897, David b 1900, Israel b 1902, and Henry b 1908. David was actually born on 27.3.1901. He was involved with the management of cinemas for most of his life. I have evidence that he stayed with his brother, Harry, at 44 Oxford Road in Southport. The same address as seen on the 1939 Register. After a visit to Monte Carlo in the 1920's, Joe and his brother Harry won a substantial amount of money and invested in their first cinema. Their father, born in Russia, certainly wasn't born with the surname of Buxton; it was Buckstein. Both surnames appeared to be interchangeable, depending on the circumstances. Later in life, he called himself Louis Buxton. It's possible that Harry Buxton was born in 1896 but his parents didn't register him due to his illegitimacy. That would give Harry b 1896 and the rest would follow as shown above. To add even more confusion to this very testing piece of research, we have, in the Yorkshire Post and Intelligencer, dated 17.3. 1937, an article about 'Henry Lewis Buxton' cinema manager...Who?!!!
                           Best Wishes

Harry (1894) isn't with the family on the 1901 census either (Lewis Bockstein, 8 Brearley Street, Leeds) so his origins are quite puzzling.

Odd about "Harry" isn't it?

Being the father of the tennis star Angela BUXTON and by all newspaper accounts a very vivid character -you would think there would be  some report of his death.
