Short obit for Ross William Kitchen in the Toronto Star on 27 Oct 2007 page B19.   It says he died Oct. 24 2007 at the age of 88.  Husband of 67 years to Freda*.  Father of sons A and Paul* (*added full names - Sandra found obits..see later in the thread).  Predeceased by daughter Shirley-Ann.   7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.  No indication where he is buried, but the funeral home is in Newmarket.

The N after Ross's name in their father's obit is for Norman.  Norman is the only one of the children not mentioned in their mother Anna's obit from 1990.  I don't see an obit for him in the Toronto papers.

From the obit that Sandra found...looks like that Andrew is yours- and Joy lived in Boston.

Obit for S Justus McKinley in the Franklin News Herald, May 22, 1982 page 9. (Pennsylvania).
It says he was 81, a native of Oil City (PA).  He died on Wed in Winston-Salem.  Former president of Emerson College in Boston from 1952-1967.   There is a lot of biographical information about him and his career.  Says he married Joy E. (Kitchen) McLean of Hamilton, Ontario in Nov of 1923.  His wife predeceased him.  Survived by one son, Gordon McKinley of Simsbury, Connecticut.  Interment Mt Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.

I think I might have come up with a candidate for Norman Kitchen - Private Norman Kitchen 1924-1944 Second World War.
You can find this entry on Find-a-grave.
Seems about the right age, so maybe the war records can provide more details?
